Fall is by far one of my favorite seasons. I love the colors of the changing leaves, crispness in the air, the pumpkins, cozy sweaters and roaring fires. It’s also a great time to refresh your home.
Before the fun part of Fall decorating, start by washing curtains, throw rugs, Fall bedding and blankets and clean windows and sills. Also give your high touch areas a good deep cleaning. Most people speak of Spring cleaning, but Fall cleaning is equally (if not more) important. This gives a refreshingly clean start to the new season and before Winter arrives when homes tend to be more closed up.
Now onto the fun part, the Fall decor! Once the house is all clean and fresh, the decorating can begin.
Throw Pillows
Throw pillows are an easy season change. They help give any room from living room to bedroom a quick seasonal update. Good choices for Fall are plaids, warm colors and of course pumpkins.
If you don’t want extra pillows to store or are short on storage space, pillow covers are a great alternative. Simply change the covers of your current throw pillows. An easy and quick change without the hassle of storage.
Throw Blankets
Nothing says cozy like a soft throw blanket. They add a warmth to any room and just a reach away for when those chilly nights hit.
Centerpieces
Centerpieces are a great way to add all the Fall feels to tabletops, mantles, or any space that needs an organic touch.

Garland
Garland is a quick and easy way to cover a larger area such as mantles, staircases, doorways, tablescapes and window sills. Garland is versatile and so easy to decorate with.

Your Fall home wouldn’t be complete without scents. Add a warm fragrance with candles, room sprays and wax melts.
